In Turkey’s Çanakkale province, an expensive supercar has been turned into an unusual fundraising tool for restoring forests damaged by wildfires. Visitors to an automobile museum are being allowed to write their names directly on the body of a Ferrari SF90 worth around €1.4 million — provided they first make a donation towards tree planting. Within just a few days, the campaign had already raised enough money for 10,000 saplings. Once the initiative ends, all the writing will be removed, the Ferrari will be cleaned and returned to its normal museum display, while the trees paid for by participants will be planted in areas affected by forest fires.The campaign is being organised by an automobile museum in the Ezine district of Çanakkale province. Organisers decided to use one of the most valuable cars in the collection to draw attention to forest restoration. Visitors are normally forbidden from touching rare museum vehicles, but in this case the rule has been reversed: after confirming a donation, a participant is allowed to leave their name directly on the Ferrari.Taking part is straightforward. Participants transfer money to the official account of the regional forestry authorities. Those visiting the museum in person write their own names on the car. People living elsewhere can also participate by sending proof of their donation, after which museum staff add their names to the vehicle.Within a short period, the Ferrari’s body became covered with signatures.

Acura Is Preparing a Larger Flagship SUV Above MDX With Hybrid Power
Acura is preparing a major expansion of its SUV range with a new model expected to sit above the current MDX. The project is reportedly being developed under the working name Acura XL, although the final production name has not yet been confirmed. Bentley Torcal reveals 850 hp, 113 kWh battery and nearly 600 km range

The car uses the PPE architecture and is closely related to two other important electric models within the group: the Porsche Cayenne Electric and the Audi Q6 e-tron. Aston Martin prepares 700-hp Vantage RS Roadster to challenge Porsche’s hardest sports cars

Power is expected to come from the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 supplied by Mercedes-AMG and extensively recalibrated by Aston Martin, with output potentially reaching around 700 horsepower or slightly more.What makes the project particularly interesting is that Aston Martin does not appear to be developing simply a more powerful convertible. The prototype suggests that the company is transferring the philosophy of the upcoming Vantage RS Coupe directly into an open car, combining serious track-oriented aerodynamics and chassis tuning with a folding roof. That would place the car in an unusually specialised part of the performance market, where comfort and open-air driving are no longer the only priorities.
Toyota prepares MR2 comeback with up to 600 hp by 2028
Toyota is moving increasingly closer to reviving one of its most distinctive sports cars, the mid-engined MR2. Alongside the possible MR2 revival, the company is preparing a new Celica while continuing to transform Gazoo Racing from a motorsport and performance division into something increasingly close to a standalone high-performance brand. Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda has repeatedly referred to Supra, Celica and MR2 as his “three brothers”, and the company now appears to be rebuilding that classic trio. Supra has already returned in the modern era, a new Celica is under development, and the mid-engined programme increasingly resembles a direct successor to MR2.
