Netflix renews The Gentlemen for Season 3 before the second season has even premiered

Netflix has officially confirmed a third season of Guy Ritchie’s crime series The Gentlemen. The decision was announced on August 24 — nine days before the second season premieres on September 3, 2026.

Such an early renewal is a significant vote of confidence in the project. Streaming platforms usually wait for the first viewing figures before deciding whether to order another season. In the case of The Gentlemen, Netflix has given the continuation a green light in advance.

The third season is already in the early stages of preparation. Writers are working on the new episodes, although filming dates, a release date and the final cast have not yet been announced.

Guy Ritchie will return to the series he created, serving as director, writer and executive producer.

The show is based on Ritchie’s 2019 crime comedy of the same name, but tells a separate story featuring new characters.

At the centre of the series is British aristocrat Eddie Horniman, played by Theo James. After his father’s death, Eddie unexpectedly inherits the family estate and discovers that an enormous cannabis operation belonging to the Glass crime family is hidden beneath the property.

Eddie initially attempts to remove the criminal business and protect his family. Gradually, however, it becomes clear that he not only understands the rules of the underworld but also enjoys its power, risk and opportunities.

His principal partner — and potential rival — is Susie Glass, played by Kaya Scodelario.

Madonna and Kylie Minogue unite after almost four decades of parallel pop careers

Two of pop music’s most enduring icons have finally released their first official collaboration. Madonna and Kylie Minogue recorded Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix), a new version of a track from Madonna’s album Confessions II.

The duet received its live premiere during Madonna’s Club Confessions show in Amsterdam as part of WorldPride. Kylie’s appearance was a surprise for the audience: the singers took to the stage in matching pink and purple outfits with long blonde hair and performed the new version together for the first time.

Following the performance, fans began discussing not only the music but also the stars’ increasingly similar visual identities. In recent years, Kylie has embraced several elements long associated with Madonna: provocative costumes, religious imagery, overtly sexual choreography and a glamorous nightclub aesthetic.

Despite the inevitable comparisons, there has never been a public rivalry between them. Madonna, who has often made cutting remarks about other female pop stars, has consistently shown warmth and respect towards Kylie. The pair are connected by decades of mutual admiration, constant reinvention and a rare absence of competition for the title of pop’s reigning queen.

They first appeared on stage together in Los Angeles during Madonna’s Celebration Tour in 2024. On that occasion, they performed I Will Survive and part of Kylie’s hit Can’t Get You Out of My Head. Fans then had to wait another two years for a proper studio collaboration.

The Rolling Stones family welcomes a new arrival as Jesse Wood becomes a father for the fifth time

The family of legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood continues to grow. His 49-year-old son Jesse Wood and former Made in Chelsea star Gemma Gregory have announced the birth of their first child together.

Their baby boy was born on August 23 and has been given the unusual full name Indigo Robin Charles Wood. The date carries special significance for the family, as Jesse’s eldest daughter Lola celebrated her 21st birthday on the very same day.

Gemma shared the first photographs of Indigo, including a tender image of the newborn sleeping peacefully on his father’s chest. She described him as remarkably calm, making adorable little sounds like a tiny cub, and said he is already surrounded by love from his many siblings.

Indigo is Jesse’s fifth child. The musician has two older children, Lola and Arthur, from his first marriage, as well as son Rex and daughter Honey with television presenter Fearne Cotton. Gemma also has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, creating one very large blended family.

Jesse and Gemma announced the pregnancy in April 2026. Their relationship became public following his separation from Fearne Cotton in late 2024. Jesse and Fearne had been married for ten years and said after their split that they would continue raising their children together.

Following in his famous father’s footsteps, Jesse has built a music career of his own.

Berlin: Comedian Trapped Inside a Hermès Bathroom for 80 Minutes

Indian-American comedian Zarna Garg arrived in Berlin as part of her Million-Dollar Excuses comedy tour. What should have been an ordinary visit to the Hermès boutique on the famous Kurfürstendamm unexpectedly turned into an 80-minute rescue operation.

Garg went into the store’s bathroom but was unable to get out after the sliding door jammed. At first, the comedian and her team, who were waiting outside, assumed the problem would be solved quickly. Garg tried to keep her sense of humour, filmed what was happening and even made small figures out of paper towels.

But the minutes passed and the staff were still unable to open the door. Employees asked Garg to push from the inside while they attempted to force it open with a crowbar from the other side. During the rescue attempt, the store’s alarm went off.

Garg said she became frightened because she could not see what equipment was being used outside and did not know whether she might be injured when the door finally gave way.

Her children and members of her team were forced to watch the situation unfold without being able to help. According to Garg, the store’s employees were reluctant to call the fire brigade because they were concerned about damaging the door. Her team eventually insisted that emergency services be contacted.

Berlin firefighters finally freed the comedian after approximately 80 minutes.

Garg said the incident also raised serious questions about safety.
